The family of Vineville would like to welcome you to this site. We hope that it will give you a small taste of what our fellowship is about. We also hope that it will whet your appetite to visit with us if you have not done so already.
Vineville Baptist has chosen to remain firmly connected to its traditional approaches to worship and ministry. Our worship services are led by an outstanding choir accompanied by organ, piano, and brass and string ensemble. The traditional form of worship offers a variety of rich musical expressions. It is our experience that the traditional approach to worship allows us to be more conscious of God’s sustaining and sovereign care in our lives. It also enables us to discover the silence and reflective moments needed to hear God’s voice above all the other voices in our world which clamor for our attention.
We have also made a conscious decision to build a free, open, and gracious family of faith. The Bible is the authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and ethics. In essentials we have unity, in non-essentials, liberty, but in all matters we are to demonstrate Christ’s love. Our dream is that Vineville will be known as a place where people can discover a community of faith where people grow spiritually because of the attitudes, perspectives, and ministry which serve as an excellent climate for growth.
Vineville Baptist Church exists to bring people to Christ and fellowship in his family. We have a deep conviction that the knowledge of God as it is revealed in his Son, Jesus, gives us the larger perspective to understand this world and our place within it. Accordingly, we emphasize the deepening not only of our knowledge of Scripture, but understand that our knowledge about God and his will is the means by which we come to know God in experience as he meets us both in times of celebration and crisis.
