Children's Ministries

The purpose of our Children's Ministry is to nurture, within each child, the desire to experience God in a personal way, providing opportunities that encourage spiritual growth and create an eternal imprint of God's love on each young life.


Sunday School

The Bible teaches us to "train up a child in the way he should go." You as parents and we as teachers have the opportunity to guide our children toward God and to foster their spiritual development. Recognizing that children learn in different ways according to age and personality, we present the truths of our faith to them in ways appropriate to their ability to understand. Infants can learn that church is a happy place where we talk and sing about God.

Preschoolers learn simple Bible stories and songs, and they experience God's love through the tenderness shown by their teachers. School-aged children are ready to join our Graded Sunday School program, which we hope ultimately leads them to a decision for Christ. We encourage them as they mature in their faith.


Children's Missions

Mission Friends is for boys and girls who are three through five years of age. This group meets year round on the second floor of the Sammons Building.

Children in Action is a missions education program for boys and girls, grades 1-6. They are currently meeting on Wednesday nights in the Lower Auditorium from 6:45 - 7:30 p.m.

Children's Music Ministry

Graded Choirs, for children ages 3 years to 6th grade, provide memorable experiences in music making that every child will enjoy. A committed team of music leaders guides children to grow musically and spiritually. Music at Vineville Baptist serves as both an outlet of expression in our children's lives and a point of contact with the community.


Weekday Preschool Program

Our weekday program is for children ages two, three and four from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Two, three, and five day-a-week schedules are available. Our intent is to provide a planned, well-rounded program, lovingly guided by skilled Christian teachers in a safe, happy environment. Mothers' Morning Out

Mothers' Morning Out is for mothers to have a time for themselves while their children are being cared for in a loving, Christian environment. For more information please feel free to call us at 743-9366.
